Cold-Shoulder & Cut-Outs

Hey everyone! It’s Melanie, fashion stylist here at Last Tango. Really excited to share these looks with you. We had such a fun day shooting on a rooftop in Downtown L.A. How beautiful is this garden & gorgeous skyline?!

On this shoot I wanted to feature our new Fall arrivals, highlighting cut-out pieces. As most of you know by now cut-outs, cold shoulder and off the shoulder tops and dresses are huge right now and are here to stay. One of the reasons I personally love cut-outs is because it adds just a perfect touch of femininity by showing just a hint of skin while keeping it classy & sexy. There’s just something about cut-outs that’s so alluring. Creating two looks that can easily transition from day to night for this shoot was lots of fun!

I am wearing a beautiful and extremely comfortable surplice long sleeve dress with shoulder cut-outs. This dress is one of our new arrivals and perfect for any occasion. In fact, right after this shoot, I had an event to attend and went straight from our shoot to the event in this dress and received lots of compliments. You can wear this dress to work, dinner, an event or a fun night with friends. The length of this dress is perfect, sitting right above the knee making it work appropriate as well as a nice cocktail length for a night out. Long sleeves are great because it tends to get cold during the winter, especially in air conditioned rooms and chilly nights out. Pairing this dress with a statement necklaces and a simple sandal is a great way to keep the look effortlessly chic.

Our lovely model is wearing Last Tango’s newest cut-out blouse. This beautiful, eye-catching v-neck blouse features collar bone cut-outs creating the perfect balance of unique and classy. This blouse is very flattering for all figures and perfect for the woman who wants to show off that beautiful neckline without showing too much skin. Keep this look classy and subtle by pairing this beautiful blouse with our front stitch legging, a statement necklace, and a simple strappy sandal. This is the perfect work-to-dinner outfit.

Most of us have busy days and packed schedules, I wanted to show how these cut-out looks can be worn anywhere… from the office, dinner with friends, or to an event. They make great travel pieces too! Our garments are wrinkle resistant and very lightweight.
