With summer coming to an end, all of our white pants, bright floral tops, cute summer dresses are all about to be pushed to the back of the closet, but, before we make the transition into fall, we have Labor Day to dress for. So, before we officially say goodbye to summer (tear), we wanted to compile a list of some easy outfit inspiration for Labor Day weekend. We know this Labor Day weekend, won’t be like previous years, but we’ve got outfit ideas for whatever plans you may have.
Since the theme for 2020 seems to be “Stay at Home” our list of outfits for Labor Day weekend are more on the casual side. Regardless of your plans, or lack of plans, these looks will work for either. We wanted to make this as easy as possible for you so you could focus on what’s really important, and that’s making all the beautiful Pinterest worthy patriotic desserts and festive fruit platters.
LABOR DAY OUTFIT #1
I don’t know about you, but I’m all about anything and everything casual this year. Life is chaotic enough with managing homeschool, work, a household, and everything else in between. I need something easy, and allow me to go about my day with ease. For me, I’m just a simple tee and cut-off jean shorts wearing kind of girl. So, this Labor Day, our cap sleeve tee and a pair of cut-off jean shorts, will be my go-to Labor Day outfit. I’ve paired with my converse platform sneakers and my favorite summer pair of black sunglasses , that are under $20 and look great on all face shapes!
LABOR DAY OUTFIT #2
Keeping up with the casual theme for Labor Day weekend, we love the comfort outfit #2 offers. These crop pants with pockets offer the same comfort our new loungewear joggers do. Sayyy what? We paired them with our Chuck Taylor Platform shoes to keep this look casual, but you can put any type of shoe with them to get the desired look you’re wanting. Grab whatever colored top you’re feeling. We chose red to go with the American theme, but anything goes with navy, so choose whatever your little heart desires and walk around in confidence.

If you follow the old rule of “You can’t wear white after Labor Day” this is the time to squeeze in your white pants before they get stored away till next year (sigh). WHAT SHOULD YOU NOT WEAR ON LABOR DAY?
This is all I’m going to say. You wear whatever you want. There are no rules, at least in my book! If you want to wear white after Labor Day, go for it. I will be right there with you. There are no set rules on what we should and should not wear. The ONLY exception is not wearing white to a wedding, unless you’re the bride. Which I think everyone knows better. LOL. Other than that, whatever makes you feel confident, sexy, and comfortable, wear it!
